About Abyss Dive Centre
Set on the main coast road running from Paphos town toward the Coral Bay area, Abyss Dive Centre is a PADI 5 Star dive centre on Cyprus's sun-soaked shoreline, where summer temperatures can climb to 40°C and the water warms to 28–30°C.
Diving off Paphos
Underwater visibility here is excellent, ranging from 20–25 metres and sometimes exceeding 30. Divers share the water with sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With just two PADI instructors and deliberately small groups, Abyss keeps training personal and professional — an approach behind its 100% safety record across 15 years of operation.
The centre offers PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving, Snorkelling and EFR First Aid, backed by air fills, nitrox, mixed gas and a full range of rental gear, including kids' and freediving equipment and scooter (DPV) hire. A waterfront location, onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi round out the facilities. Staff speak English, German, Greek and Bulgarian, making it a natural fit for holidaymakers and local divers alike.

★ 5 · Peter Trant · 2010-11-02I visited the centre after being going on introduction dive led by a hungarian lady who was excellent Edina. I took to it straght away and bought alot of equipment from Nikos who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I aim to go back and do the intensive dive master course as so on as he can fit me it. Nice staff, good advice, nice location. Had a great time!
