Where the PADI system's top tier teaches

North Cyprus British Scuba Centre is a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Kyrenia, and its owner, Cengiz, is the first and only PADI Course Director in North Cyprus. He has been diving since 1993. Course Director sits at the pinnacle of the PADI System of diver education, a rating held by less than one percent of all PADI Members — the industry's equivalent of a postgraduate degree in scuba instruction.

Six PADI Instructors teach here, covering PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, PADI First Aid – EFR and conservation courses. Lessons happen in an onsite classroom, and the waterfront location means the house reef and the dive boat are both close at hand. The team speaks English, Dutch, Ukrainian, Russian and Turkish.

The centre handles air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and a full rental range down to children's sizes, alongside onsite accommodation, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking. There is a dive club and conservation activities too. Divers here have logged sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.
