Akuasub Fundacion Acuario De Zaragoza

Set in Zaragoza, Spain, Akuasub Fundacion Acuario De Zaragoza offers something few dive centers can: the chance to dive inside the largest Fluvial Aquarium in Europe. Here you can share the water with Arapaimas of more than 3 meters in length and more than 180kg in weight, alongside Malay Sharks, Pacus, and other species drawn from the world's most relevant rivers.

Courses and training

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 6 PADI Instructors, the team covers a wide path of learning — from PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling to PADI TecRec, PADI First Aid (EFR), Public Safety Diver, Adaptive Diving, and Conservation. An onsite training pool and classroom make it a practical base for building skills, with Nitrox and equipment sales on hand.

On-site facilities include an aquarium and deep pool, retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and food and drinks. Instruction is offered in Spanish, making this a distinctive stop for divers who want a freshwater aquarium encounter with conservation at its heart.
