Aquarium Shark Dive

The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi is a world-class facility that's home to an array of aquatic life — and one of the more unusual places to put on a tank. This PADI Dive Center lets certified and beginner divers alike get into the water with rare and beautiful marine life, in a setting that sits right in the middle of the city.

Courses and what you'll see

Two options are on the table. The Shark Dive (from USD 191, around two hours) is the headline experience, while Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 289, around two hours) is built for first-timers who've never breathed underwater before. Both take place in the aquarium's main tank — a dive the centre describes as one not to be missed.

Marine life on show includes sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, and sharks and rays. On site you'll find a training pool, a classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and parking, plus air fills and conservation activities. Instruction is in English, and doors are open 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM every day of the week.
