A PADI Resort in Mutis on the bay of Bahía Solano, Aquasub Bahía Solano runs daily outings for certified divers and newcomers alike, with three PADI instructors guiding small groups in English and Spanish. The center sits at a waterfront location with an onsite training pool, free Wi-Fi, accommodation, and food and drinks.

Courses and diving for every level

First-timers can try the water with Discover Scuba Diving from USD 125, while certified divers can build skills through PADI specialties — including Drift Diver, Advanced Freediver, and Wreck Diver. Wreck diving is a standout here, centred on the emblematic Sebastián de Belarcázar ship. Calm sites inside the bay suit early dives, while spots like middle stone and northern stones reveal more of the Colombian Pacific's marine life.

Diving is possible year-round. From May to June there are possible whale shark encounters, and from June to October humpback whales arrive — a spectacle many visitors return for. Two comfortable boats with marine radio and full equipment with wetsuits round out the experience, where safety is the priority.
