Atlantic Duikcentrum

For more than 26 years, Atlantic Duik & BHV centrum has been a familiar name in Hoorn, in the Netherlands. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center staffed by 5 PADI Instructors, it has built a long-standing reputation for hands-on training and personal guidance, with English, Dutch, and German all spoken on site.

Courses and local diving

The centre runs PADI and DAN dive education alongside first-aid training, covering PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving, Snorkelling, and EFR First Aid. Closer to home, divers explore local sites including twiske kurejanstrand Den Ilp and Twiske Oostzaanzijde, where sightings can range from ocean fish to sharks, whales, and turtles.

An onsite classroom, retail shop, and parking round out the facilities, while services span air fills, equipment sales, and rentals for scuba, kids, and freediving gear. With its own dive club, Atlantic suits newcomers taking their first course and returning divers looking for a well-equipped home base in Hoorn.
