Barefoot Divers

Barefoot Divers opens up the protected waters around Roatán, an area recognised for its health and biodiversity compared with other parts of the Caribbean Sea. In the surrounding waters you may spot turtles, sharks, dolphins, rays, moray eels and colourful reef fish, while the seascape is threaded with caves, crevices and notable wreck dives suited to more advanced divers.

A PADI 5 Star IDC centre on the waterfront

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 4 PADI Instructors, Barefoot Divers is well set up for training and for divers wanting to go further, and Enriched Air (Nitrox) is available. The guides know the local reef intimately, helping you find the best spots and pick out camouflaged animals in their natural habitat.

A valet service preps, loads, rinses and stores your kit, and boats pull right up to the centre for easy access. On site you'll find an onsite training pool, a house reef, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, warm-water showers, and Fish ID and diving books. Staff speak English and Spanish, making it a comfortable base for divers of all levels.
