Bateel Diver

Bateel Diver is an approved PADI 5 Star IDC dive center based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, dedicated to the lifestyle of scuba diving and to a community built on safe diving practices. With a team of 10 PADI Instructors teaching in English and Arabic, the center offers scuba courses alongside local and international diving trips.

Courses and who it suits

Whether you're trying scuba for the first time or working toward becoming a professional, there's a path here. Newcomers can begin with PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 152, around 3 hours), while the eight courses on offer extend through Enriched Air Diver, Boat Diver, Open Water Diver (E-learning), Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response, and ReActivate. The center also runs Instructor Development Courses for divers ready to cross over into teaching.

Local diving centres on Halfmoon Bay, where the marine life includes sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. On-site you'll find a classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and a dive boat, plus air fills, equipment sales and rental. Bateel Diver's aim is to build marine-life awareness and shape better underwater explorers at every step.
