Black Sand Diving - La Palma

Perched on the volcanic island of La Palma, Spain, Black Sand Diving is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around the island's distinctive underwater world. With two PADI Instructors on the team and teaching available in English, Spanish, Dutch and French, it's a welcoming base for divers who want structured, professional guidance close to some genuinely varied waters.

Local diving and courses

The center works a spread of nearby dive sites, including La Bombilla, Puerto Naos, Charco Verde, Malpique, El Faro, Las Cabras and La Bajtia. The marine life here runs from ocean fish, eels and echinoderms to molluscs, crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish, with turtles, sharks and rays, whales and other mammals among the sightings. Alongside PADI scuba diving and snorkelling, you'll find PADI First Aid – EFR training and a hands-on commitment to conservation activities.

On land, an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop keep things comfortable. Air fills, equipment sales, and both adult and kids' rental gear round out the setup — making Black Sand Diving a solid fit for newcomers, families and returning divers alike.
