If you need more practice dives than the recommended number, you can complete them at no additional cost until you earn your certificate.

Courses and diving on the Costa Tropical

Newcomers can try PADI Discover Scuba Diving, while those ready to go further can work towards the PADI Open Water Diver certification. A Half-Day Dive Trip, from USD 66, lets certified divers explore the local waters around Marina del Este.

Dive sites include La Huerta, Territorio Congrio, Los Molinos, Punta de la Mona, Piedra de la Higuera and Los Candelabros, among others. The centre offers an onsite training pool, dive boat, retail shop, onsite accommodation and parking, with instruction available in English, Spanish and French — a well-rounded base for divers of every level.
