Buceo La Vieja

Set on the beach of the quarries in Gran Canaria, Spain, Buceo La Vieja is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center working from a waterfront location. With two PADI Instructors on the team and instruction offered in Spanish, it's an approachable base for first-timers and certified divers alike who want to explore the local waters.

Courses and diving

The center runs eleven courses and activities, from a PADI Discover Scuba Diving session and a half-day diving trip to full certifications including PADI Open Water Diver (eLearning), Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver and Enriched Air Diver. A PADI Scuba Refresher is on hand for divers easing back into the water.

Nitrox, equipment rental and a retail shop round out the services, and the center takes part in conservation activities. Beneath the surface, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish, making it a fitting choice for anyone keen to learn and log dives along this stretch of coast.
