Buceo Rías Baixas

Set in the Ría de Aldán at the heart of the Rías Baixas, Buceo Rías Baixas is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center on Spain's Ría de Vigo. Its strategic position opens up two very different worlds underwater: the Ría de Aldán itself, with enormous rocky reefs, mussel rafts and wrecks, and the Atlantic Islands National Park, including the Cíes and Ons islands.

Diving and courses

The center runs PADI scuba diving and snorkelling programmes, supported by an onsite training pool and an Adaptive Services Facility. Signature dive sites include the Pecio Isurus wreck, the mussel-raft "bateas" and Cabo Udra. Divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, eels, molluscs, crustaceans and echinoderms, among other marine life.

Facilities cover a retail shop, dive boat, parking, free Wi-Fi and onsite accommodation, with scuba, freediving and kids' equipment rental available. Staff speak English, Spanish and Galician, and conservation activities are part of the programme — making it a fit for divers wanting both classic Galician reef diving and a broader coastal experience.
