Buceo Sub La Palma

Set on the Canarian island of La Palma — fondly known as "La Isla Bonita," the pretty island — Buceo Sub La Palma has been welcoming divers since 2001. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with three PADI instructors, it offers a wide range of diving experiences and courses for the whole family, all in a relaxed shop where friendly staff take time to talk through what you're after.

Courses and diving

New divers can start with the Open Water Diver Course, which runs from USD 561 over roughly three days. Training is supported by an onsite pool and classroom, with air fills, equipment sales and rental, and conservation activities rounding out the services. Equipment rental is included, though there's plenty of space to store your own gear if you'd rather bring it.

Local dive sites include La Bombilla, Puerto Naos, Malpique, El Faro, Las Cabras and La Bajtia, where marine life ranges from ocean fish and turtles to sharks, rays, eels and echinoderms. With staff speaking English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, it suits families and international visitors alike.
