Caballito Salao

Tucked into the waterfront at La Azohia, Spain, Caballito Salao is a family-run PADI 5 Star Dive Center where two PADI Instructors keep groups small — so you can dive at an easy pace, without rushing or crowding.

Courses and diving

Whether you're just starting out or building toward the next certification, there's a clear path here. Options run from the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses to specialties like PADI Nitrox and PADI Dry Suit Diver, alongside guided dives and Dive fulness outings. Guided dives start from USD 107 for around three hours, and courses and activities are offered in English, Spanish and Catalan.

Local waters open onto sites such as El Corralón, La Garita, Tajo Colorao, Cala Cerrada, Cala Abierta, El Muellecico, Punta de las Animas, El Arco and Cuevas, with the chance to encounter ocean fish, turtles, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and anemones among much else. With a waterfront location, retail shop, Nitrox and full equipment rental, it suits new divers and returning ones alike who value a relaxed, personal outing.
