Cape Eleuthera Island School

Set on the southern tip of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, the Island School Dive Center supports one of the world's leading place-based educational institutions. It trains students, faculty, and visiting researchers across both recreational and professional levels, with a focus on safe, responsible diving in service of marine science, conservation, and experiential learning.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with a PADI Instructor on staff, the centre offers PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Freediving instruction, along with PADI First Aid and Emergency First Response training. A PADI Purpose Built Facility, it also runs a conservation programme and a dive club, and provides air fills and equipment sales. All instruction is offered in English.

The location gives divers direct access to coral reefs, blue holes, walls, and shark and ray habitats across Eleuthera and Harbour Island. It's a natural fit for anyone who wants every dive to double as an opportunity to learn, explore, and contribute to ocean stewardship — from newcomers to researchers.
