Born in the cozy town of La Restinga on El Hierro in the Canary Islands, Centro De Buceo El Bajon is the work of a Herreño family with a deep passion for the sea and the wide, dynamic, and fun world of diving. As the only centre created by locals here, they bring a fresh concept to diving — going beyond quality, comfort, and confidence to offer a genuine family service that makes every visit enjoyable, in and out of the water.

Courses and diving

A PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with 8 PADI instructors, El Bajon offers PADI Scuba Diving, Freediving, Snorkelling, and EFR First Aid, along with Nitrox and a full range of equipment rental for adults and kids. Dives explore local sites including EL BAJON and Punta Restinga, where the waters host sharks, whales, turtles, rays, ocean fish, corals, and much more.

On site you'll find a dive boat, retail shop, free Wi-Fi, parking, food and drinks, accommodation, and adaptive services. With staff speaking English, Spanish, and French, and a welcoming dive club, it suits divers of every level looking to discover El Hierro.
