Coral View Beach Resort & Dive Center

Coral View Beach Resort & Dive Center sits on the waterfront in Sandy Bay, Utila, in Honduras' Bay Islands — a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort wrapped around the vibrant underwater world of the Caribbean Sea. Surrounded by the second largest barrier reef on the planet, it's the kind of place where the reef starts more or less where the property ends.

Courses and dive sites

Two PADI Instructors run the teaching side, covering PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, Conservation and PADI First Aid – EFR, with an onsite training pool and classroom to work through the basics before you get wet. Whether you're a seasoned diver or a curious beginner, the certified instructor team handles the safety side so you can concentrate on the water. Sites in the rotation include Jack Neil Beach, Teds Point, Moon Hole and Black Coral Wall, reached by dive boat or straight off the house reef.

Marine life here runs to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. Air fills, scuba and kids' equipment rental, conservation activities, onsite accommodation, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi round things out, and the team works in English and Spanish. Between dives there's kayaking through mangrove forest, the hike to Pumpkin Hill, or a cocktail at the reef bar beside the salt water pool.
