Dive Community La Palma

Set right on the beach bay of Los Cancajos in the east of La Palma, Dive Community La Palma keeps everything close to the water. Its house reef sits just 150m away, so divers of every training level can get in without a long journey — and come back to coffee and a warm shower in a genuinely family-run atmosphere.

Courses and diving

This PADI 5 Star IDC centre has four PADI Instructors and runs a full slate of courses, from the PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher and Equipment Specialist to Emergency Oxygen Provider, Underwater Navigator, Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver, Rescue Diver, and Open Water Referral dives. A house reef, onsite training pool, and classroom make it a natural fit for both first steps and skill-building.

The waterfront base has parking, a retail shop, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi, with staff working in English, Spanish, and German. Out at dive sites like La Bajtia, the Atlantic here is home to sharks, whales, turtles, and ocean fish — a welcoming spot for anyone wanting easy, unhurried diving off the eastern coast.
