Divecenter Scuba Original

Meet Divecenter Scuba Original, the newest 5-star PADI dive centre in the top of North Holland, based in Alkmaar. Founded in 2020 by five enthusiastic divers whose hobby got wonderfully out of hand, the team is committed to giving you the best possible diving experience — whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or logging advanced dives.

Courses, sites and who it suits

With five PADI Instructors on the team, the centre covers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, conservation and PADI First Aid (EFR) training. There's an onsite classroom plus food and drinks, along with air fills and scuba equipment rental to keep your day running smoothly. Lessons and briefings are offered in both English and Dutch.

Regular dives head to freshwater favourites including Spiegel plas and the Vinkeveense Plassen, with Vinkeveen Zandeiland 4 among the go-to spots. It's an approachable, community-minded centre — a natural fit for beginners finding their fins and experienced divers alike.
