Duikcentrum Leonardo

At Duikcentrum Leonardo in Friesland, the Netherlands, a passionate team of divemasters and instructors puts you and the underwater world front and centre. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 5 PADI instructors, the centre delivers dive training and dive trips both at home and abroad, always in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Courses and services

Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or building on existing skills, you'll find PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling courses here, along with PADI First Aid (EFR) training. The centre also runs a dive club, arranges travel, and offers air fills plus scuba equipment rental — including kids' sizes. An onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat and parking round out the setup.

There's a nice story behind the name, too: Duikcentrum Leonardo is named after Leonardo Da Vinci, who as early as 1508 designed a system that let you breathe underwater for longer stretches. With instruction available in English, Dutch and German, the centre suits divers of every level looking for a friendly base in Friesland.
