Duikcentrum Teylingen

Based in Leiden, Netherlands, Duikcentrum Teylingen is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center where fun, safety and looking out for one another shape everything. The team's philosophy is simple: traveling together means planning together, diving together and making time for each other — even when problems arise. With two PADI Instructors on hand, it's a welcoming home base for divers who value a supportive, club-like atmosphere.

Courses and what to expect

The center runs seven courses and activities, including the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (from USD 476, around 3 days) and the PADI Open Water Referral Part 1/2 covering theory and pool training (from USD 536, around 3 days). Onsite you'll find a classroom, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, plus services such as air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales and both adult and kids' equipment rental.

Instruction is offered in English and Dutch, making it a natural fit for local and visiting divers alike — from those advancing their certification to travellers finishing a referral before their next trip.
