Gaia Scuba

Based in Bogota, Colombia, Gaia Scuba brings a fresh, welcoming approach to scuba diving as a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. With two PADI instructors on the team and both English and Spanish spoken, the center pairs high-quality training with genuinely friendly service — a good fit for divers who want to build skills and have fun doing it.

Courses and dive sites

The course lineup runs from the Nitrox Course (PADI Enriched Air Diver), from USD 281, to the PADI Open Water Referral Part 1/2 with theory and pool training, and PADI Emergency First Response (EFR). An onsite training pool and classroom, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi make learning comfortable from the first day.

Beyond the classroom, Gaia Scuba runs trips to dive sites including Alex Places, Calichan, Granate, El Torin, Chengue, Cinto, Alice in Wonderland, isla baru and Bachelor's Beach. With air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and rental on hand — plus a real passion for conservation — it suits everyone from first-timers to divers keen to explore Colombia's underwater world.
