Gone Diving Vanuatu

Run by Norwegian couple and PADI instructors Anne and Petter, Gone Diving Vanuatu is a waterfront dive centre in Port Vila built around its own house reef on the beach. Because everything happens right on Anne's Reef, you can dive whenever you like — day fundives, spectacular night dives among the cracks and hiding places, and a full range of PADI courses.

Diving Anne's Reef

The reef sits within a Marine Protected Area and teems with reef fishes. Divers regularly meet turtles, moray eels, dugongs, rays, octopus, cuttlefish and stonefish. Sheltered water means there is rarely any current, and sandy plateaus at graduated depths make this an ideal training ground, with a wall dive at the drop-off for those wanting to go deeper.

The centre keeps groups small, believing this preserves the magic of each encounter and keeps the reef's inhabitants curious. With well-maintained gear, an onsite training pool and classroom, and staff speaking English, Swedish and Norwegian, it suits everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers.
