Volcano Island Divers

Volcano Island Divers holds a distinction few can claim: it's the first PADI ECO Dive Centre in Melanesia, and eco-conscious diving runs through everything the team does. Based in Lenakel, this fully accredited PADI Resort has become the exclusive dive operation on Tanna Island, opening up the South Pacific's underwater world in partnership with the nearby White Grass Ocean Resort & Spa.

Diving on Tanna Island

With two PADI Instructors on hand, small daily trips run for up to eight divers from both shore and boat, reaching the sites aboard a 7.1-metre dive boat powered by a 90hp Mercury motor. An onsite training pool makes it an easy place to learn, while a house reef and waterfront location keep the diving close.

Underwater you might encounter sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish, and the macro-rich sites are a treat for underwater photographers. English, French and other languages are spoken, and with onsite accommodation, gear rental and free Wi-Fi, it suits everyone from first-timers to keen photographers.
