Greenwood Beach Resort Dive Center on Cat Island, Bahamas, is a PADI-certified operation offering underwater adventures for all levels, with courses and dive trips run by two PADI instructors. Beginner and advanced divers alike can explore the vibrant marine life and coral reefs around Cat Island.

Courses and dive sites

The centre is renowned for encounters with Oceanic Whitetip sharks, one of Cat Island's signature experiences. Specialty courses build on the fundamentals, including Deep Diver, Underwater Navigator, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery Diver, and Dive Against Debris. Marine life on offer ranges across sharks, whales, turtles, rays, ocean fish, eels and echinoderms.

Beyond scuba, the centre organises half-day snorkelling trips to the clearest waters of Cat Island, with unique spots such as a bat cave reachable by boat, plus kiteboarding. Conservation runs through everything here, from sustainable diving practices to coral restoration. Facilities include an onsite training pool, house reef, dive boat, free Wi-Fi, onsite accommodation, and parking, with staff speaking English, Spanish and French.
