Greenwood Beach Resort

Set directly on the pristine southeast coast of Cat Island in the Bahamas, the Greenwood Beach Resort Dive Center is a welcoming, boutique-style PADI operation built around small groups, personalized service, and uncrowded diving. It offers a relaxed alternative to the larger resort-based outfits found throughout the Bahamas, with a multilingual team guiding divers in English, Spanish, and French.

Diving Cat Island

Thanks to the resort's remote setting, divers reach untouched sites with exceptional visibility and minimal boat traffic. The team leads you along dramatic vertical walls, vibrant coral reefs, blue holes, and deep pelagic waters. The center is especially known for its seasonal Oceanic Whitetip Shark encounters, conducted with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and environmental awareness.

From beginner PADI courses to advanced adventures, the two PADI instructors tailor guidance to every experience level. The center typically runs 2 to 3 boat dives per day; on three-dive days the boat returns to shore between dives for added comfort. On-site facilities include a training pool, retail shop, dive boat, warm-water showers, and free Wi-Fi — an authentic Cat Island experience for divers of all levels.
