Iaora Diving

Tucked along one of the loveliest beaches on Moorea, Ia Ora Diving is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort set on the island's east coast in French Polynesia. It holds a rare distinction: it's the only centre on the island diving the eastern shoreline, which means uncrowded sites in a preserved environment where coral and marine life are protected.

Courses and who it suits

With experienced PADI instructors and three languages spoken — English, Spanish and French — the centre welcomes complete beginners, certified divers and anyone returning after a break. The line-up spans 22 courses and activities, including PADI Discover Scuba Diving from USD 180, PADI Scuba Diver from USD 570, PADI Drift Diver, ReActivate refreshers and freediving options such as Basic Freediver from USD 70.

Local dives explore protected sites like Aquarium de Temae, Faufa'a and Passe Haumi, home to sharks, turtles, eels, molluscs, corals and ocean fish. From July to November, whale excursions add the chance to share the water with these ocean giants.
