Island Diving Center

Island Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort in Roatán, set at Brisas del Mar Hotel in West End with a private dock and quick access to what many divers consider the best diving on the island. Daily boat dives reach 60+ dive sites — reefs, walls, and shipwrecks — all just 5–10 minutes away, suiting beginners and certified divers alike. Named dive sites include Cara-a-Cara, Marco's Place, Shark Dive, and Front Porch.

Courses and who it suits

The center offers a full range of PADI training, from Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 132) and the Open Water Diver Course through Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, Wreck, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Scuba Refresher, with a Course Director on the team. With five PADI instructors and five languages spoken, it's built for divers who value quality, calm, and well-organized small-group diving.

Between dives, guests relax at the pool and along the waterfront house reef, where marine life ranges from sharks, whales, and turtles to eels, molluscs, corals, and more.
