Maputo Dive Center

Maputo Dive Center is a Mozambican owned and led PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Maputo, Mozambique. With a PADI Instructor on the team, it's a welcoming home base for divers who want to learn, refresh their skills, or keep exploring beneath the surface — and the waters here are home to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

Courses for every level

Whether you're just starting out or building toward something bigger, the center runs a full slate of PADI training. Try the PADI Scuba Diver or full Open Water Diver Course to get certified, sharpen technique with Peak Performance Buoyancy or Underwater Navigator, or top up with Enriched Air Diver. Returning divers can shake off the rust with PADI ReActivate, and safety-minded guests can take Emergency First Response.

Facilities include an onsite training pool and classroom, a retail shop and a dive boat, plus air fills, equipment sales and rental. With staff speaking English and Portuguese, it suits both locals and visiting divers looking for a genuinely Mozambican dive experience.
