Pelago Adventure Centre

Set on the coast at Nacala, Mozambique, Pelago Adventure Centre is a PADI Resort dive operation founded by Mike Donald — a qualified PADI instructor. If you haven't yet learned to scuba dive, this is a fine place to take on that magical skill and learn from one of the masters of the game.

Courses and waters

As a PADI Resort, the centre is geared toward getting new divers into the water through PADI Scuba Diving instruction, with air fills and scuba equipment rental on hand and a dive boat to reach the sites offshore. English is spoken here, and the team runs Monday through Saturday, 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, closed on Sundays.

The waters off Nacala reward the curious. Divers can encounter sharks, whales and turtles, ocean fish, sharks and rays, mammals and reptiles, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish. It suits first-timers ready to earn their fins as well as anyone drawn to a rich mix of marine life.
