Oceanicos

Set on the Costa Daurada in El Vendrell, tucked inside the port of Comaruga roughly halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona, Oceanicos is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center run by a team of professional divers and marine biologists. Their mission is simple and sincere: to protect the seas and oceans, and to pass that care on to the next generation of divers through sustainable, respectful diving.

Courses and who it suits

With two PADI Instructors and four languages spoken — English, Spanish, Italian and Catalan — Oceanicos welcomes everyone from first-timers to aspiring professionals. Newcomers can try PADI Discover Scuba Diving from USD 96, while the path continues through Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and all the way to Divemaster. There are also Emergency First Response and ReActivate refresher options for those returning to the water.

On site you'll find a training pool, a classroom, a dive boat and parking, all in a waterfront location. Beneath the Mediterranean surface, divers may encounter turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and more.
