Oceano Adventures

Based in Sayulita, on Mexico's Bahía de Banderas, Oceano Adventures is a boutique PADI dive center that has spent over 10 years exploring this stretch of the Pacific coast. The team keeps groups small — just four divers per instructor — for an intimate, hands-on experience whether you're a first-timer or an advanced diver.

Courses and dive sites

As a PADI-certified center, Oceano Adventures offers Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, and Divemaster training, taught with a focus on safety, fun, and real-world experience. Trips head out to the region's most iconic sites, including the Marietas Islands, Los Arcos, and El Morro, with reefs, volcanic formations, and marine-life encounters along the way.

Many dives take place inside protected waters such as Marietas Islands National Park, home to the blue-footed booby and sea turtles, and the center follows strict guidelines to protect the local ecosystem. The shop sits just minutes from Sayulita's main plaza, with transport to dive locations included — a welcoming choice for families, couples, and solo travelers alike.
