Pro Dive International Catalonia Riviera Maya

Founded in 2003, Pro Dive International at Catalonia Riviera Maya has built its name on first-class underwater adventures out of Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. This is a center known for variety: diving in cenotes, with bull sharks, and at wrecks and local reefs, plus safaris in search of whale sharks and sailfish. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort recognised with the National Geographic Award and the Green Star Award, it counts among the top training centers in Mexico.

Courses and who it suits

Whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or building advanced skills, the range covers it — PADI Discover Scuba Diving, the PADI Open Water Diver and Scuba Diver courses, Advanced Open Water, Nitrox Enriched Air, plus a Scuba Refresher and Pool Check. Note that a refresher is needed if you haven't dived within 12 months.

With five PADI Instructors, all guides certified as MSDTs, and free Nitrox, it welcomes absolute beginners and advanced divers alike. Staff speak English, Spanish, Dutch, French, German and Italian.
