Oceano Scuba

For 38 years, Oceano Scuba has been one of Colombia's most active PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centers, based in Santa Marta with access to Tayrona National Natural Park. With a team of 8 PADI instructors, this is a place that not only teaches diving but trains the next generation of dive professionals, having certified over 10,000 divers.

Courses and the Tayrona advantage

Every level is covered, from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver to PADI Deep Diver, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air and technical courses. Oceano Scuba is also home to the Dive Like a Girl distinctive specialty and BUZO PARA LA CIENCIA, which trains recreational divers in scientific methodology for marine research.

Beneath the surface, Tayrona delivers some of the Caribbean's healthiest reefs, where elkhorn corals thrive in massive three-dimensional structures alongside brain and soft corals, more than 500 species of fish, sea turtles, rays and the occasional shark. Open 365 days a year and diving sites like Morro de Gaira, El Cantil and Cueva del Toro, it suits first-time divers and aspiring professionals alike.
