Plan this trip with AI →Set on the waterfront at Almyrida on the Greek island of Crete, Omega Divers has been welcoming divers since it was established as a PADI Center in 2011. Today it operates as a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, running recreational diving and courses for novice and experienced divers alike, with a team of 10 PADI Instructors committed to the highest possible standards of safety and education.
Whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or building toward advanced certification, there's a path here. Try Discover Scuba Diving from USD 120, step up to the Open Water Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver certifications, or refine your skills with Peak Performance Buoyancy and Deep Diver. Younger divers can start with the PADI Bubblemaker, and continuing education keeps experienced divers progressing.
One local highlight sets Omega apart: the chance to dive the Amazing Elephant Cave, a submarine cavern in Crete where a fossilised elephant can be found. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop and staff speaking English, Spanish, French, German, Greek and Russian, it suits curious beginners and seasoned divers looking for something unforgettable.

★ 5 · Olga Eremengo · 2011-02-07I had the opportunity during my winter holiday to visit Omega Divers near in Chania to the traditional village in Almyrida which a good friend of mine has recommended to me.. Because of my low diving experience, i was little afraid to dive with new stuff, but at the end i realise how important is to be a real professional, and believe me ..the guys there know how to do their jobs perfect.. Everything with the schedule, the equipment, underwater and out of the water was working very good and specially with fun!! We wish them great success in the future!!
