Seahorse Dive Center

Seahorse Dive Center is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in Varkiza, an eastern beach suburb of Athens. Open all year round, seven days a week, it caters for every kind of diver — from a single diver looking for a buddy through to large dive groups and clubs — with its team of 4 PADI Instructors. Snorkel tours are also on offer for those keen to see the underwater world from a different perspective.

Courses and diving close to Athens

With 22 courses and activities, the range runs from Enriched Air Diver and PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy through Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Dry Suit Diver and Digital Underwater Photographer, all the way up to Divemaster. It's a strong fit for divers wanting to build skills or take the next step in their training.

Day trips head out by boat without straying too far from the city — it's only two minutes from the shop to the jetty. Local dive sites such as the 2nd Gulf of Vouliagmeni and 1st Cove Vouliagmeni offer varied, well-protected diving over walls, wrecks and caves, by day or night. Guiding is offered in English and Greek, with fun, safety and customer service kept top of the dive plan.
