Open Water La Herradura

Welcome to Open Water La Herradura, a PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre set right on the beach in La Herradura, Spain. Whatever your level, the team runs baptisms, diving courses and boat dives all year round, and with 10 PADI instructors on hand there's a course to match exactly what you need — from first breaths underwater to advanced training in knowledge, skill and underwater dexterity. Guiding is offered in both English and Spanish.

Dive sites and marine life

The centre works a rich stretch of local coastline, with sites including Cuevas de Cantarriján, Punta de la Mona, Marina del Este, Fraggle Rock, La Calita and Piedra del Hombre, among many others. Below the surface you might encounter ocean fish, sharks and rays, turtles, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish.

A waterfront location, dive boat, retail shop, free Wi-Fi and onsite accommodation round out the setup, alongside air fills, equipment sales and full rental gear. With training paired to a genuine mission of environmental awareness and conservation, it suits divers of every level.
