Patadacobra Mergulho E Turismo

Founded in 1989 in Bombinhas, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, Patadacobra is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre on a mission to make great diving accessible to clients at every level. With 18 PADI instructors on the team, it covers everything from first breaths underwater to professional GO Pro training across its bases in Bombinhas and Porto Belo.

Courses for every level

Beginners can start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving, a roughly three-hour introduction from USD 105. Those ready to certify can take the PADI Open Water Diver course, while certified divers chasing more adventure can step up to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver programme. Recreational, specialty and professional training are all on offer, supported by experienced PADI staff.

Local dives explore sites such as Saco do Capim – Naufrágio Granada and Passarela do Ribeiro in Bombinhas, with marine life including sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels and ocean fish. The waterfront centre features a house reef, onsite training pool and classroom, dive boat, retail shop and accommodation, with staff speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese — a welcoming choice for divers of all abilities.
