Atlantis Divers

Based in Fernando de Noronha, Atlantis Divers launched its operations in early 1994 and is today considered Brazil's largest and best-structured dive operator. With six catamarans purpose-built for dive operations, the centre runs across four Brazilian capitals and three islands, serving divers of every level with a genuine focus on quality, safety and professionalism.

Courses and diving

As a PADI Resort with ten PADI Instructors, Atlantis Divers is well set up for both beginners and returning divers. You can work through the PADI Open Water Diver Course in Fernando de Noronha over roughly four days, or head out on a Half-Day Dive Trip lasting about four hours. Nitrox, Trimix and mixed-gas fills are available, along with equipment sales and scuba rental for those travelling light.

The team explores a wide spread of local sites, including Naufrágio do Porto, Ilha do Meio, Buraco do Inferno, Cordilheiras, Pedras Secas, Caverna da Sapata, Corveta V17 and Laje dois Irmãos. With staff speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese, it suits international divers looking for a well-run base in one of Brazil's most talked-about dive regions.
