Scafo Mergulho

One of Brazil's pioneering dive schools, Scafo Mergulho has been sharing its passion for the underwater world for more than 30 years. Based in São Paulo, this PADI 5 Star IDC centre brings together deep experience, a full range of courses and 13 PADI Instructors ready to guide you from your first breath underwater to advanced skills.

Courses and diving

Whether you're starting out or building toward professional and technical levels, Scafo covers the full spectrum with PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI First Aid (EFR) and conservation-focused training. Air fills, Nitrox, mixed gas and scuba equipment rental round out the support, and courses run in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Divers here can encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish among the marine life on offer. On land, the centre is well equipped with an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, a dive boat, food and drinks, and parking. With its long heritage and welcoming setup, Scafo Mergulho suits new divers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
