Pearl Divers & Water Sport Centre

Pearl Divers & Water Sports Centre is a PADI 5-Star dive resort with 23 years of experience, running centres in both Unawatuna and Trincomalee on Sri Lanka's coast. From its Trincomalee base, a team of 8 PADI instructors and experienced Divemasters guides divers through a waterfront location that includes a house reef, dive boat, onsite training pool and classroom.

Dive sites & marine life

Trincomalee opens onto more than 16 dive sites, with local favourites including Welluore Rock, Sithanane Pare, Pigeon Rocks, the Pigeon Island back side and Knife Rock. Beneath the surface, divers encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and plenty more.

Alongside PADI scuba courses and snorkelling, the centre offers boat trips, whale-watching, air fills, nitrox and mixed gas, plus a full range of scuba equipment for hire. Conservation activities and PADI EFR first aid round out the offering. With staff speaking English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, it suits both new and experienced divers looking to explore Sri Lanka's waters.
