Pro Dive International Catalonia Bayahibe

Set on the waterfront in Bayahibe, Pro Dive International Catalonia Bayahibe is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with four PADI instructors leading divers into the Dominican Republic's marine world — colourful coral formations, an amazing variety of sea life and unique underwater cave systems.

Courses and dive trips

From first-timers to those building experience, the centre runs the full PADI path: Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 126 for a session including one dive, or USD 198 for two), the Open Water Diver Course (from USD 540 over roughly four days) and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (from USD 450). Younger guests can try the PADI Bubblemaker from USD 108, while certified divers can book 6- or 10-dive packages. Excursions head out to Bayahibe, Saona and Catalina islands, with wreck diving on the menu too.

An on-site training pool, dive boat, equipment rental and on-site accommodation make it an easy base, and the team works in both English and Spanish — well suited to beginners and holidaying divers alike.
