Rebel Diving

Rebel Diving keeps things deliberately small. Based in Zwolle in the Netherlands, this PADI 5 Star Dive Center teaches in groups of no more than two students per instructor, and builds the schedule around yours rather than the other way round. The philosophy is simple: you only really learn to dive when you're enjoying it and nobody is rushing you.

Courses and local diving

The centre's three PADI Instructors can take you through the full range of PADI courses up to PADI Divemaster, and a PADI IDC Staff Instructor is on hand to support you if you want to keep going beyond that. Alongside recreational training there's PADI TecRec, snorkelling, conservation and EFR first aid. Local diving happens at Milligerplas, home to freshwater fish among other life.

Facilities cover the practical side — air fills, equipment sales, scuba rental, a retail shop and free Wi-Fi — with English and Dutch both spoken. It suits new divers who want unhurried, personal attention, and anyone building towards a professional rating close to home.
