About Reef Gliders
Set on the waterfront at West End, Roatan, Reef Gliders is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center focused on the reefs of the Bay Islands of Honduras. With a team of seven PADI instructors and an emphasis on small, personalized groups, it's a place built around professionalism, safety, conservation and fun. Several of Roatan's finest sites sit just minutes away by boat, and the surrounding fringing coral reef makes for genuinely memorable diving.
Courses and diving for every level
Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or building toward a pro rating, there's a course to match. Options range from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 185) and the Open Water Diver Course (from USD 490) to Advanced Open Water and PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox). Certified divers can head out on the 2 Tank Dive Package from USD 150, or the 6-Tank Dive Package from USD 350.
Facilities include an onsite classroom, retail shop, house reef and dive boat, with English and Spanish spoken. It suits new and experienced divers alike who want a friendly, hands-on home base on Roatan.

From the time we arrived everything was handled professionally and seamless. Barbara and John have a great company!! If you are looking for glitz, this is NOT your place. If you are looking for awesome dives, good equipment, and small groups, this is your spot! We did 10 dives over the course of a week and never went to the same place twice. The dive master, Michaela, was extremely knowledgeable and emphasized safety but was also a lot of fun. The boat drivers were very helpful and because they are locals their knowledge base about the island is amazing. The dives themselves were all very different, from sandy spots, walls, wrecks to massive overhangs. You will find eagle rays, turtles, barracuda, giant grouper, moray eels, etc... We are going back in June 2013 and will definitely dive with them again!!

They do a great job offering divesites at your level of diving, no matter wheather you are a beginner or an advanced diver. The staff is very helpful and friendly, with a very personal touch. You don't feel like one out of many divers, because they take such good care of you! Mickey is a great divemaster with an exceptional eye for marine life! He sees a lot of special small stuff, other people just pass! He pointed out so many beautiful things! Michaela and Riccardo are caring and understanding instructors who do a great job making their students feel comfortable!
