Reefers & Wreckers

Reefers and Wreckers is a family-owned dive shop on the West Coast of beautiful Barbados, in Speightstown. Established by Michael Mahy and his dad, and later joined by brother Philip, the operation has been running for over two decades. Today it's a PADI Resort with a close-knit crew of dedicated, PADI-certified professionals who cater to every certification level, from beginner to advanced.

Caribbean diving at its best

With over 20 exciting dive sites to explore, Reefers and Wreckers offers a fun, relaxed way into the Atlantic Ocean's underworld. It's a great spot for training open water and Discovery Scuba Diver students, and works well for groups. Divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and more.

The two-PADI-instructor team dives from the Conqueror II, a reliable boat measuring 29ft from bow to stern and equipped with VHF radio, oxygen and first-aid equipment. On-site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and equipment rental. English is spoken. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course runs from USD 900 over approximately 3 days.
