Sandals Aqua Center Barbados

Sandals Aqua Center Barbados is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based in Bridgetown, Barbados, backed by a team of 10 PADI instructors. With a waterfront location, its own dive boat, and English-speaking staff, it's set up to welcome divers of every level to the warm waters of Barbados.

Courses and what to expect

Learning is central here. The center runs PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling programmes alongside PADI First Aid – EFR training, supported by an onsite training pool and a dedicated classroom for skills sessions before you head out. Conservation is part of the offering too, and English is spoken throughout.

Facilities cover the essentials, including air conditioning, a retail shop, and equipment rental with shorty wetsuits available. Underwater, the local marine life is varied — sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish.

Open seven days a week, from 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM, it suits newcomers taking their first breaths underwater and certified divers alike.
