Set in the heart of Santa Marta, Colombia, Santa Marta Dive Center pairs idyllic surroundings with top-quality service led by PADI professionals. With two PADI instructors on the team, first-line equipment and an onsite training pool, it's a welcoming base whether you're slipping underwater for the first time or building toward more advanced certifications.

Courses and diving

The lineup spans every stage of the PADI path, from Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 90) and Advanced Open Water Diver to Rescue Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Enriched Air Diver. Prefer to simply get wet? A Half-Day Dive Trip runs from USD 79, and night dives are on offer too. Guided excursions explore the bay of Santa Marta and Tayrona Park.

Dive sites include Dos Morritos, El Morro de Santa Marta, Punta Aguja, El Cantil and Punta Betin, where you might encounter turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and more. With English and Spanish spoken, a retail shop, dive boat and DPV scooter rental, it suits divers of all levels.
