Saphira Dive

Set on the Mediterranean coast at Tarragona, Spain, Saphira Dive is currently the only PADI 5-Star diving center in the El Garraf region. With two PADI Instructors on the team, the center is built around comprehensive training — everything from diving dedicated to children to programs for aspiring PADI professionals, plus a range of specialty courses.

Training, courses and conservation

Saphira Dive offers PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling instruction, EFR First Aid, and dedicated conservation courses. As a Purpose Built Facility with adaptive services, it also welcomes divers of different abilities. Onsite you'll find a training pool, an aquarium/deep pool, a retail shop, free Wi-Fi and a dive boat, with Nitrox, equipment sales and rental (including kids' sizes) all available.

Local waters here are home to sharks, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish. Run as the Saphira Dive Divers Club, the center hosts outings, trips, workshops, talks and diving events around Vilanova i la Geltrú — a strong fit for families, new divers and anyone keen on marine conservation.
