Scuba Amigo

Tucked away on the east side of Tioman Island at Kg. Juara — better known as Juara Beach — Scuba Amigo is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and the pioneer dive operator on this side of the island. The team dives the east side of Tioman exclusively, where more than 10 well-known but less-explored sites await, ranging from shore and sandy slopes to rocky slopes and submerged reefs.

Courses and what they're known for

PADI courses run from Open Water Diver and Advanced Diver through Rescue Diver and Divemaster, with an Underwater Photography course included too. Scuba Amigo is especially known for its macro critter spotters and professional underwater photographers, backed by an instructor with more than 20 years of experience alongside trained Divemasters and staff.

On site you'll find a classroom, free Wi-Fi, a waterfront location, a house reef, a dive boat and onsite accommodation, plus air fills and equipment rental. With dive sites like Berlabuh and Amigo House Sand and a team speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Chinese and Indonesian, it suits divers chasing the quieter side of Tioman.
