Scuba Education Amsterdam

Scuba Education Amsterdam is a 5-star PADI dive facility built for divers who want to learn, and keep learning. Its team of 7 PADI instructors covers the full ladder of PADI courses from complete beginner all the way up to Assistant Instructor, alongside EFR and TecRec training. With a pool and theory rooms under one roof and flexible scheduling, lessons are designed to slot around your week rather than the other way round.

Courses and dive sites

The course line-up spans PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Deep Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Dry Suit Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy. Never breathed underwater before? A Taster Dive starts from USD 59 and runs around 3 hours. Many courses include the use of dive gear, so there's little to organise before you arrive.

Training and outings extend to freshwater sites including Vinkeveense Plas, plus Kreidesee at Hemmoor across the border in Germany. On site you'll find a training pool, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, with instruction offered in both English and Dutch — a natural fit for new divers and those working toward professional ratings alike.
